Why they love working at AAH: As a manager, I really feel like I am an advocate for our patients, clients, staff, veterinarians, and community. I love that my job allows me to see things from all perspectives, and because of that I believe I am able to be as effective as possible at giving a voice to our patients, bringing value to our clients, improving the work experience for our staff, supporting our veterinarians, and considering how we can support our amazing community.
Best pet parent tip/advice: Remember that our pets are like children–they are highly dependent on us (and generally ONLY us) for food, water, exercise, companionship, and love. This means we need to be extra mindful of how much food/water they have access to, how much exercise they’re given the opportunity to do, and how much companionship and love they are offered day-to-day.

Why they love working at AAH: I love the relationship I have with our clients and their fur babies! I greatly appreciate all of the hard work and dedication from our DVMs and staff to keep our beloved patients healthy and safe, and love that we as a team are entrusted to provide and deliver this care and support. Whether it’s the many clients I have known for several decades or the others that are new to our practice, I enjoy beginning and nurturing a new relationship with those who are just starting out with us and getting to know all of the new furry family members and their pet parents.
Best pet parent tip/advice: Please keep all of your fur babies on year-round flea and tick medications. It’s so easy to prevent disease transmission and infections, and it is much harder to treat these pests once they set up home on your pet and in your house.
